Six Firecats Named to af2 All-Conference Team

Estero, FL- Florida Firecats announced today that six players have been named to the 2007 arenafootball2 all-National Conference team, tied for the league high. This marks the 2nd straight year that the Firecats have had six players receive league wide recognition.

Levy Brown and Keith Drayton made the all-conference list for the first time in their af2 careers. For Benton, Fisher, James and Wallace it was their second straight season on the all-conference list. Individual league player awards will continue to be announced over the next 2 weeks.

The Florida Firecats won the South Division championship for the 4th straight year in 2007. This season also marked the Firecats 6th consecutive post-season berth, 2nd longest active streak in the af2.
