Florida Firecats 6th in Coaches Poll for 4th Straight Week

Estero, FL- The Florida Firecats held onto the #6 spot in the arenafootball2 week 14 Coaches’ Poll, their 4th straight. The Firecats, who won their 5th straight last week, were unable to gain any ground in the poll despite Tulsa, Bossier Shreveport and South Georgia all being idle in week 13.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers maintained their No. 1 ranking of the Weekly Coaches Poll for the tenth straight week while running their record to 11-0 after a 62-55 win at Quad City. Rio Grand Valley, the only other Top 5 team in action last week, improved to 10-1 winning their 8th straight 63-52 against Oklahoma City.

Each week during the season the coaches vote for the leagues top 16 teams. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own teams and the poll results have no bearing on postseason qualification.
