Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator

2008 marks Bouis’ 4th season as head coach. In just three seasons he has an impressive 40-13 record at the helm (38-10 regular season). In 2007 the ‘Cats finished the regular season ranked 2nd in scoring defense (37ppg)  2nd in total defense (224ypg) and second best in the deuce in both rush and pass defense.  (12.9 & 211.2 ypg respectively)

Coach Bouis has been with the Firecats since 2002 serving as the Defensive Coordinator on two ArenaCup teams, winning it all in 2004. That year his defense was ranked #1 in total defense, #1 in pass defense, #3 in rush defense & #2 in scoring defense surrendering just 38.2 points per game.

He is a former player for the National Indoor Football League’s Mississippi Firedogs. He helped his team win two League championships, 2000 and 2001, winning All-NIFL honors.

Offensive Coordinator

Ken Mastrole is in his 4th year as coordinator after leading the Firecats to the championship on the field as the quarterback in 2004.

In 2007 the Firecats had the af2’s fourth best offensive attack averaging 290.9 yards per game. The Cat’s ran the ball for an average of 27.7 ypg, fifth best in the league. Florida had the leagues best QB passer rating with 123.4.

In 2006, Mastrole’s offense was tops in the af2 scoring nearly 60 points per game.

He played his college ball at Maryland & Rhode Island also had stints with the Chicago Bears in the NFL, The Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe & the Detroit Fury in the AFL.

Line Coach/Linebackers Coach

Coach Bramante was the Defensive Line and Linebackers coach for the Tennessee valley
Vipers in 2007.
