Utah BlazeThe burning of Utah is pleased to announce the signing of QB Tommy Grady (6-7, 250, Utah) for the 2011 season. Quarterback Grady, a former University of Utah is the first signing by the flames during the period of free will.

Grady joins Blaze, after spending the 2010 season with the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz where he completed 363-of-597 passes for 4307 yards, 17 touchdowns and 81 interceptions. He spent last year with the Yard Dawgz, formerly part of the AF2, Grady began in the last two regular season games and completed 56 passes for 687 yards and 13 touchdowns, a record for a computer game endings (31) and pass attempts (44).

"Bringing a player the caliber of Tommy is essential for the Blaze back to being a team player in the AFL," said head coach Ron James. "It is truly one of the servant begins to tug at the AFL and we are looking forward to production next year in our uniform."

Grady finished his college career at Utah, after transferring from the University of Oklahoma. In 2005, Grady practiced, but could not play due to the transfer of NCAA rules. The following year, Grady saw action in seven games, the performance of 7-14 passes for 102 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. In his senior year, finished the season Grady completed 58-of-115 passes for 681 yards and four touchdowns and three interceptions. In Oklahoma, was the backup QB Jason White. He played in five games in 2004 and completed 12 of 14 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown.
