Orlando (5-7) recovered from a 21-point first quarter deficit to turn the game into a back-and-forth affair. John Dutton’s 9-yard touchdown pass to Chris Johnson in overtime gave Cleveland (6-7) the 77-70 victory over Orlando.

Vigilantes lost their ninth straight game PDF 
The Vigilantes lost their ninth straight game Friday night at the American Airlines Center as the Iowa Barnstormers cruised to a 59-38 victory. Costly turnovers and failed fourth down conversions were the ultimate downfall for Dallas who fell to 1-11 on the season. 
Iron outplayed Blaze at home, 56-82 PDF 
The Utah Blaze (1-11) were defeated by the Milwaukee Iron (8-5) in front of 3,537 fans at the Maverik Center Friday night, 56-82.
“We’re not executing in the critical situations,” said Blaze Head Coach Ron James. “We are still a work in progress but at the same time we are working towards the positive.” 
The Spokane Shock defeated the Arizona Rattlers PDF 
The Spokane Shock defeated the Arizona Rattlers tonight, 37-36, for its tenth win of the season. The Shock are the first team in the AFL with ten wins and with only two losses, they have the best record in the league.

Coming into tonight’s game, Spokane and Arizona’s offenses averaged 131.3 (combined) points per game, but it was their defenses that took center stage.

Chicago Rush outplayed by Tampa Bay 68-60 PDF 
Quarterback Brett Dietz connected on eight touchdowns and wide receiver Hank Edwards caught four of  those passes for scores as Tampa Bay defeated the Chicago Rush, 68-60, Friday night in an Arena Football League game that saw the Storm (9-3) win its 7th straight game and bolster a lead in the South Division.
AFL broadcast partnership with Eurosport 2 PDF 
The Arena Football League is pleased to announce a broadcasting partnership with Eurosport 2, part of the Eurosport Group, Europe’s leading sports channel. Eurosport 2 will be showing the NFL Network Arena Football Friday games on a tape delay. The AFL previously broadcasted on Eurosport 2 during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
New Arena football League executive declared PDF 
The Philadelphia Soul today announced longtime Arena Football League executive Tom Goodhines as the team’s general manager. Goodhines will be responsible for overall business and team operations of the football organization, which begins play in April 2011.

“Tom is highly respected in our sport and we are fortunate to add someone of his talent, knowledge and experience to help us build the Soul into what everybody here in Philadelphia expects – a championship franchise,” said Soul co-majority owner, Craig A. Spencer.

AFL schedule adjusted for broadcasting schedule PDF 
The Arena Football League has adjusted the schedule of the NFL Network’s Arena Football Friday broadcast for July 30. Originally scheduled to air was the Tulsa at Oklahoma City game, but the game shown will now be the Spokane at Jacksonville game.
