Sharks announce Jacksonville defensive back and receiver Brian Walker was added to the list of 2011 Tuesday, January 11, 2011.

Walker (5'10, 175, Washington State) joined the Sharks in their first season in the Arena Football League. Walker played for the Green Bay Blizzard (LIF) in 2010 and finished the season with five tackles - four solo - an interception and three pass breaks in two games.

Walker led New Jersey to Jacksonville for the holding of free practice December 12th, 2010. After a stellar training Moss against the head coach and defensive coordinator Jake Grande, Walker was offered a place on the list in 2011.

"I cried I was so happy," Walker said when asked about his reaction to receiving a call from Coach of the Year 2010 Moss to join the Sharks in 2011. Walker played three years of college football at Hackensack High (Hackensack, New Jersey) and was named MVP and first team all-league as a senior captain. He had 130 yards in three strikes in a game and led the Championship Hackensack NNJIL. Walker also spent one season as a runner for the track team and a stint as leader of the basketball team.

Walker is one of professional football players in your family. Walker, cousin of Ryan Grant is a corridor of the Green Bay Packers. Brian Walker is also a cousin of Herschel Walker, Heisman Trophy winner in 1982 at the University of Georgia.

Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL).
