The Shock announced today that LB Antwan Marsh, DL Khreem Smith, DL, DB Josh Ferguson, DB Nygel Rogers, DL, Francis Maka, and PP Rucshard Dodd Masters, was added to Spokane in 2011 file.

Marsh, 6-3 220, is the eighth member of the 2010 return to ArenaBowl champion Spokane Shock. During the regular season, totaled 29.5 tackles with four interceptions and three assists Marsh breaks. The versatile DB Marsh played in the championship due to injury, and finished second on the team with eight tackles.


Smith, 6-4 270, has earned a reputation as one of the searchers to move to the dominant majority in the last game of the season, Smith posted a career-high nine sacks (third in the league) as a member of the iron Milwaukee. As a rookie in the AFL in 2006, he recorded eight sacks. Smith is also a veteran of the NFL, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs (2007) and Minnesota Vikings (2006) during the regular season.

"Khreem Smith is one of the best defensive linemen to play ArenaFootball" said head coach Rob Keefe. "He said he wants to be pushed to be even better. He has great expectations for him and will help us achieve all its objectives."

Ferguson, 5-7 180, is also a veteran of the Arena party, who spent his rookie season with the Chicago Rush (2010). As a member of the race, Ferguson led the team in tackles (99), interceptions (9), and outputs of motion (21).

Rogers, 6-1 203, was also a member of last season the fever of Chicago. Rogers, a member of the shock of 2007-2008, has recorded 80.5 tackles, eight interceptions and 13 pass break the fever last year.

Maka DL, 6-2 255, is a rookie in the AFL, but he is no stranger to football. Last season, Maka played in a football league as a member of the Diamonds of Arkansas where he recorded 6.5 sacks with 23.5 tackles in just nine games. Before his time with the diamonds, Maka finished his collegiate career at the University of Hawaii where he recorded 2.5 sacks in two seasons.

Dodd-Masters, 6-0 190, is a veteran of the Arena party. In 2009, Dodd-Masters has recorded 63 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass break in 14 games.

"When you're able to get these players on a team, other players are excited," said Keefe. "We want to show fans across the country and the league that we are serious. I that today's operations adds more depth and versatility to our roster of training camp that will be very competitive."

To date, the list of 2011 includes 18 players in a state of shock about it.
